Dr David Crocker
BSc (Hons), MBBS (Hons), DipExpMed, MRCPsych | GMC 7411382
Dr Crocker studied medicine at King’s College London before training in psychiatry and gaining membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He has been working within the field of psychiatry since 2018, with ADHD and autism in adults becoming his primary focus since 2023.
He set up Caledonian Psychiatry because he believes good psychiatric care depends on seeing the same doctor every time. Every assessment, every follow-up and every report is carried out by Dr Crocker personally — there is no delegation to other clinicians or trainees.
He knows your history because he was there for all of it.
Patients consistently rate their experience highly. In his most recent CARE Measure audit (71 patient responses, 706 scorable item ratings), Dr Crocker scored a mean 4.97 out of 5.0 against a published normative median of 4.67, with 96.6% of all ratings the top “Excellent” rating and none lower — placing these results in the highest band the CARE Measure benchmark reports. The practice operates online, headquartered in North Berwick, East Lothian, and is Scotland’s first independent medical agency to be regulated by Healthcare Improvement Scotland (registration number 03427). All appointments are delivered by secure video link, so patients can be seen anywhere in the UK. Read more about Dr Crocker →
