About

Our clinical team

Caledonian Psychiatry is led by Dr David Crocker, founder and Medical Director. Every clinician at the practice is a GMC-registered psychiatrist.

Meet our psychiatrists

The doctors behind the practice

Caledonian Psychiatry was founded and is led by Dr David Crocker, and the practice is Scotland’s first independent medical agency to be regulated by Healthcare Improvement Scotland (registration 03427). Every clinician working here is a psychiatrist, fully registered with the General Medical Council and holding Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych).

Whichever doctor you see, the fees, standards and clinical approach are the same — and your care stays with the same named psychiatrist from your first appointment onwards. For ADHD assessments you can choose your psychiatrist — Dr Kamaledeen has his own booking page; for other services, get in touch and we will arrange an appointment with him.

A consultant psychiatrist joins the practice in late August 2026, seeing patients where a consultant-led assessment is preferred, and with a view to also seeing patients covered by private medical insurance as recognition with insurers progresses. Consultant-led assessments will carry higher fees than our standard services, published in full before booking opens. Full details will appear here soon — in the meantime, please contact our admin team, who can send information directly.
